| Our President hesitates to speak too strongly against the atrocities happening in Iran, and as many leftist pundits have expressed, he believes the people should gain democracy on their own. Then, in Honduras, where the will of the people is accomplished in the defense of their democracy, he condemns their actions and says Zelaya (BFF with Chavez), should be put back in power. Don't you just love this guy? HERE is an article to read on what happened in Honduras.
In happier news....I'm super proud of this girl!!!

| Today was the last day of Vintage Gardens. How can you feel this much relief and this much sadness at the same time? I'm not sure. I was doing ok all day, elated and upbeat even, until I started walking around turning off lights and locking doors. Suddenly, I was fighting a great, clawing monster trying to find its way up my throat. I didn't leave until about five twenty, and pretty much held it together on the drive home. Then I walked in the door and one look at my husband's kind face sent me over the edge. I let go for about 2 minutes and then I was gently reminded, (I had completely forgotten) that we were meeting my in-laws at six for a Father's Day dinner. So I pulled myself together and got ready to go. And we had a wonderful time with his parents tonight. There is so much to celebrate in my life right now; but today, I shed a few tears for you Vintage Gardens. I will miss your great, green goodness....especially the parts of you that didn't die no matter how "un-green" my thumb was. I will miss the beautiful urns, planters, and sculptures I met because of you. I have been forever ruined when it comes to shopping....my tastes turned ever "upwards." Most of all I will miss all the wacky, wonderful, scary, hilarious, heaven-sent customers I met during my time there. They always were the best part of my job.
 Good bye Vintage Gardens.
Hello, rest of my life!
